Contract 2 (Km : 4 + 000 - Km : 37 + 000):
Contract “2” starts at Duhail, passing through sub-urban
and rural areas to the North of Doha City, namely Duhail,
Kheessa, Khuraitiyat, Umm Salal Ali, Umm Salal Mohammad.
The Contract includes the Simaisma road link and continues
till its end after Al-Khor road intersection.
Contract 3 (Km : 37 + 000 - Km : 98 + 200):
Contract “3” starts near Al Khafaij area, passing through
rural areas, namely North Military Camp, Al Khaaban,
Al Juthay, Fuwairit, Al Ghariya, Athba Al Shamaliyah and
Madinat Al Shamal.
Scope:
• 10 Dual carriageway bridges,
• 10 Single carriageway bridges,
• 3 underpasses,
• 5 Camel Crossing Underpasses,
• Construction of stabilized earth retaining walls,
• Construction of approximately 94,20 km. Of 2 x 4 Highway (North Road),
• Construction of approximately 5 km. Of 2 x 3 Highway (Simaisma Road),
• Construction of approximately 17,30 Km of 2 x 2 road (Crossing Roads),
• Construction of approximately 56,60 Km of single carriageway,
• Demolition of the existing Northern Relief / Simaisma bridge,
• Connections with the surrounding road network and services,
• Maintenance of traffic and detours, Relocation, Realignment and Diversion of Existing Utilities, Electrical and Telecommunication works,
• Street (Road) lighting works including the installation of street lighting columns and high masts,
• Landscaping & irrigation,
• Construction of approximately 13.7 km drainage works.
